RF2024: The Concert Ballon
Our project seeks to research the interaction when an individual adds a change to an existing environment at Roskilde Festival. Usually, the experience at Roskilde Festival is carefully curated and designed for the user's experience.
The idea behind the interaction is that an attendant will see the installation, and some of the attendants will through curiosity, discover that the action is causing an immediate response of the balloon inflating if it is deflated.
As a payoff for interacting with our installation, a light will be shown at the top of the pillar. This light will be visible not only to the person who interacted with the installation but to all the people around the area. We imagine this light and installation could be a meeting point for groups at the festival. The light will also be a way of representing the continuous interaction between the participants and the installation.
