RF2024: HOW'S YOUR UTERUS?

We have observed that it is almost a taboo to talk about women’s reproductive systems and health. We want to test this hypothesis and break the taboo by encouraging women to talk more openly about how they feel about their abdomen and its health. Additionally, being able to read other women’s comments could be an eye-opener, allowing some to relate or creating resonance. We aim to make a meaningful change by starting an open conversation.

Although this project focuses on female reproductive organs, we believe it can benefit everyone. For example, it can help educate people without uteruses about the various feelings, pains, thoughts, and emotions connected to these organs.

The entire project and its materials are as sustainable and environmentally conscious as possible, ensuring that everything can be reused after the festival has ended.

We are excited and curious to collaborate with festivalgoers through this project, as we see the uterus whiteboard as an interactive collaboration and/or daily art piece created by anyone and everyone interested in participating.
