RF2024: WHACK A BUTTON GAME
Whack-A-Mole inspired game can offer festival guests a fun and challenging experience. An exciting pole with many colorful buttons that light up in a random sequence, challenges guests to press the buttons at a good pace and with good reaction time to score points.
The game tests one's reflexes and speed and can be enjoyed across all ages. It is not just an activity but a social gathering point, allowing guests to play with each other or try to beat each other's high scores. The game's elements of randomness and competitiveness make it a source of much fun and excitement.
We hope it will create curiosity among festival guests passing by, a curiosity that can only be satisfied by trying to press one of the large glowing buttons. Our installation does not come with a long game manual or a big sign with instructions. The installation's success relies entirely on the user's curiosity and the game's intuitive design. Therefore, we want to observe the use of the installation and evaluate its intuitive design, potentially involving festival guests who have used the installation.
