RF2024: TINNITUS FABRIKKEN

Our project is an interactive musical installation that allows participants at the Roskilde Festival to create music and experiment with sound in a creative way. The project offers a unique experience that combines music, light, and design into a collective sensory experience.

The main feature of the installation is an instrument composed of various strings that participants can pull to generate different sounds. By experimenting with combinations of strings, participants can create their own unique pieces of music. This part of the installation is designed to be intuitive and accessible to everyone, regardless of their musical background.

The project explores how to test and evaluate an idea at the festival. It examines whether people, with or without musical experience, can gather around a musical installation and create music together. The design of the installation is based on recycled and reusable materials, reflecting a broad approach to sustainability, both socially and environmentally.
