As a small experiment in unfolding 3d objects a diamond was created in cardboard.
A trial version of Bonzai3d was used to unfold the diamond object. It was converted to PDF via print and save as PDF on a mac. The object was then cleaned up in illustrator.
The folding parts were cut halfway through and the templates cut all the way through. The cardboard was then glue together with a hot glue gun.
